CivitasLA

Mar 30, 2022

Formed in 1921 to replace the old Hollywood Board of Trade, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has represented and advocated for a cross section of businesses large and small, non-profit organizations, and residents throughout the Hollywood community. As the second largest business organization in the Los Angeles region, the Chamber also has the unique distinction of managing two important global assets, including the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Sign.

As CivitasLA celebrates Women’s History Month, we are joined by Lupita Sanchez Cornejo, Regional Vice President of External Affairs for AT&T California, and the first Latina (or Latino) to serve as Chair of the Board of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. As the Chamber celebrates 100 of service to community, join us in conversation with Ms. Sanchez Cornejo as she discusses how chambers are evolving to engage new audiences and address ever-changing issues affecting businesses. And what leadership lessons she hopes to bring to the role as she steers the organization as it embarks on its next hundred years and seeks to fulfill its mission “To Advance a Dynamic Business Climate and Elevate the Hollywood Experience for All.” To learn more, please visit: www.HollywoodChamber.net.
